Getting Free Local Cable Channels

Any household all over the country is entitled to watch free local television channels the moment they purchase a television set. Aside from the basic local channels, they may also have an ugly antenna connected to their TV or a huge satellite dish that they have to put up the roof.  Not exactly a good art that you can be proud of and write about and post on your art blog

They may not be able to get watch HBO or Cinemax on the spot because they need to subscribe to cable operators to get those amazing channels as well. If you want to level up a bit and have a few more channels to choose from, there is DirecTV or Dish Network which has a fee and sometimes an additional $5.99 per month for the local channels.

Rumor has it that there are no free local channels when they subscribe to a satellite TV provider. If there are local channels, there must be an additional fee, that’s according to a couple of satellite TV subscribers. This is the concern of satellite TV subscribers that cable companies would be happy to provide for – free local cable channels.

Another advantage of Cable TV is the fact that it is immune to bad weather conditions that affect satellite signals. During emergency situations like heavy storm, hurricane and tornado, a lot of satellite TV subscribers would have already lost their satellite signal way before they were warned. Whereas those issues don’t even come up with Cable TV subscribers.

If you are not fully convinced yet about the advantages of a cable TV, you may want to take a look at this list:

Other benefits of Cable TV would include:

* Not being able to pay that extra $5.99 just to watch your local channels.

* Weather proof. That includes heavy rain, storm, tornado or hurricane.

* No dish satellites to put up on your roof in order to get a good TV signal. Not to mention that your roof is damage proof.

Perhaps you get the idea. Choosing cable TV could bring more advantages than disadvantages to your household.
